In early February 2014, I was invited to photograph the newly recreated Charles Ives Studio at the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York.  The studio had been faithfully recreated using most of the artifacts and even some architectural/ structural remnants from the original, in Redding, CT.  It was a fascinating assignment; the room was so evocative - practically "vibrating" with the genius of this great composer and his music .  On February 28th (Feb 27th online) The New York Times ran an article ("Charles Ives’s Workroom, Pencil Shavings Preserved"), using two of my images:
